He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hartwig and Myrtle Hartwig (Richmond); and his siblings, Don Hartwig, Blanche DeFaut and Agnes Langer.
He is survived by: his son Brian Hartwig (Tena); his grandchildren, Kyle Hartwig (Megan Giese), Kaleb Hartwig and Ethan Hartwig Milwaukee (Aileen Funk); his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Violet Hartwig; his sister Gloria Naze; and his sister-in-law Harriet Hartwig. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
