She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Skaleski and Marie Skaleski (Coppens); her husband Robert VanGoethem; her brother Glen Skaleski; her in-laws, Archie and Mert VanGoethem; and her brothers-in-law, Arnie VanGoethem (Joyce), Harold VanGoethem (Karen), Bill VanGoethem, Marc LeLou, Don Leiterman, Jeff VanGoethem, Marlin Zimmer and Howard Wagner.
She is survived by: her close friend Dale Fictum; her daughter Karen Muchowski (Pat); her granddaughters, Stephanie LaTour (Marty) and Patricia Knoll (Trey); her great grandchildren, Landon and Karson LaTour; her sisters, Jeanette VanGoethem (Ray) and Eileen Layden (Joe); and her sisters-in-law, Carol LeLou, Elaine Leiterman, Betty Zimmer-Wagner, Linda VanGoethem, Diane Delain (Vince) and Pat VanGoethem. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her special companion.
