She is survived by: her children, Nancy Gurnee (Stewart), Steve Backhaus (Sue), Gary Backhaus (Lyn) and Jim Backhaus (Nancy); her grandchildren, Laura Lobner (Kyle), Dr. Emily Gurnee (Terry Singhapricha), Tammy Backhaus (Dan), Rachel Garbisch (CJ), Paul Backhaus (Cody), Debra Backhaus, Erik Backhaus (Sarah) and Daniel Backhaus (Renee); and her great grandchildren, Jinda, Jaren, Tripp, Ben and Gwen.
