It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Schmitt (Kewaskum, Wisconsin), born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 12, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Schmitt and Evelyn Schmitt; his wife Gertrude "Gertie" M. Schmitt; his brothers, Gilbert, Robert and Ralph; and his brother-in-law Robert Schwai.
He is survived by: his children, Maryann Schmitt, LeRoy "Butch", Jr. (Julie), Ed (Linda) and Brian (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy (Mekenzie Polzin) and Dalton; his great grandchildren, Brentley Polzin and Tommy Schmitt; and his siblings, Rosie Schwai, William Schmitt (Bernadine), Casper Schmitt (Marge), Kathleen Philippi (Ed) and Mary Schwalenberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
