He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Prochnow and Vivian Prochnow (Tschetter); and his grandfathers, Alvin Prochnow (Anna) and Joseph Tschetter (Elizabeth). He is survived by: his spouse Elke Jansen; his children, Heidi Cheryl Prochnow and Edward Allen Prochnow; his grandson Edward Joal Prochnow; his brother Allen Prochnow (Gabrielle); his nephews, Jeffrey Prochnow (Starr) and Brian Prochnow (Sylvia); and his friend Ken Meske (Vicki). He is also survived by nieces, other relatives and friends.
