She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Kuehl and Emily Kuehl; her husband Richard O. Thiemer; her daughter Shirley; her son-in-law David Krejci; her sister LaVerne Uelmen (Harold); her sister-in-law Shirley Kuehl; and her nephew Gary Kuehl.

She is survived by: her children, Richard D. Jr. Thiemer (Mary) and Carol Krejci; her grandchildren, Richard E. III Thiemer (Lori), Lisa DeKarske (Matt), Ralph Krejci and Mandy Norris (Kirt); her great grandchildren, Ashley Voss (Brandon), Richard P. IV Thiemer (Libby), Tracy Thiemer (Carol), Megan Norris, Elliot Norris, Ethan Norris, Brittany Parshen (Andy) and Michelle DeKarske (Brandon); and her brother Donald Kuehl. She is also survived by nine great-great-grandchildren.
