We bid farewell to Elizabeth A. Mapes of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wenzel Slavik and Mary Slavik; her husband Harold "Sonny" Mapes Jr.; her son Jeffery; her granddaughter Rozalynn Mapes; her siblings, Rosemary (Roman Barth), LaVerne (Kenny Schobel), Eileen (Joseph Steger), Richard "Dickie" (Joan Slavik), Raymond Slavik and Lloyd Mueller; and her uncle George Fischer.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Carol McKee), Randy and Gary (Joan); her grandchildren, Kayla Meredith (Matt), Jarrett Mapes (Michayla), Randy Mapes Jr., Jamie Mapes and Joanna Mapes; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, Dominic, Braysin, Maverick, Myla and Ava; her siblings, Patricia Mueller, Janice Klahn (Wilmer), Jean Krahn (Sylvester), Robert Slavik (Carolyn) and Diane Slavik; her aunt Johanna Fisher; her in-laws, John Mapes (Karen) and Nick Thanos; and her parents-in-law, Harold Sr., Dorothy Mapes (Boerger), Joan Michaels (Wally) and Mary Thanos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (406 Jefferson St, West Bend, WI 53090). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
