He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franzen and Leona Franzen; his parents-in-law, Ray and Amatta Keller; his granddaughter Mikaela Desrosier; his siblings, Audrey Johnson (Roy), Donald Franzen (Anita), Henry Franzen, Edward Franzen (Pat), Priscilla Friedemann (Robert), Marcella Fierke (Vernon) and Bernadine VanAntwerp (David); and his brother-in-law Daniel Survis.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Keller; his children, Lisa Walczak (Jon) and Doug Franzen (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Alexsa Walczak and Caleb Franzen; his siblings, Roxy Sterr (Joe), Judy Survis and Darlene Aupperle (Ronald); his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Fellenz (Frank) and Pauline Franzen; and his close friend Mike Frank. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
