He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Halvorsen and Joan Halvorsen; his sister Betsy Wasmer (Edward); his children, Noel Halvorsen, Jeremy Halvorsen and Lisa DeBlaey; his stepchildren, Jason Sobczak (Michelle), Justin Brinkman (Jenny) and Jessica Kosmatka (Edward); and his niece Juli Ida Hogan.
