He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Galovits; his brothers, Ben Galovits and Mike Galovits; his siblings-in-law, Jim Otwaska, Loren Ledger, Tony Farina, Marko Puskarovich, Ken Pullen, Roger Hoffman, Jack O'Daniel and Bev Galovits; and his father Benedict Galovits.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Betsy Lee (Dan) and Brian Galovits (Sara); his grandchildren, Connor Lee, Emme Lee, Alex Galovits and Annabelle Galovits; and his siblings, Rosie Ledger, Katherine Farina, Helen Pullen, Julie Christiansen (Ray), Ronnie Hoffman, Dave Galovits (Linda), Pat Hansen (Dave) and Mickie Fields (James).
