He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Waupoose (Grignon) and Gordon Waupoose, Sr. of Neopit, Wisconsin.; his son Marlin L. Waupoose Jr. (Shanae); his granddaughter Starfire Waupoose; his brother Gordon "Sonny" Waupoose; his parents-in-law, Harry and Lavina Shawano, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Alberta Shawano, Wayne Pecore, Jr., Jerry Shawano and Quinton Shawano; his niece Tricia Pecore; and his great-niece Lily Lyons.
He is survived by: his wife Jerilyn "Bedo" Shawano; his children, Patricia (Brian), John Shawano, Phillip (Cheryl), Benjamin (Donna), Rosemary Fowler (Scott), Miriam (Jeff), Jana and Dolores; his grandchildren, Maliyah, Brian, Jr., Jace, Kacie, Delsey, Paul, Phillip, Aubree, Kendra, Shaniqua, Makenzie, Payton, Kaylee, Olivia, Mya, Lukas, Scott, Jr., Avahri, Madison, Xander, Caroline, Reys, Tristan, Jesse, Sean, Mason and Alexis; his siblings, Mary Beth Pecore, David Waupoose, Sr. (Jill), Carmella Waupoose and Annmarie Johnson, III (Kenneth); his siblings-in-law, Gary Shawano, Dan Reiter, Ruth Waupoose, Gwen Shawano, Verna Reiter, Lynnette Shawano and Tina Shawano; his uncle Lowell "Chopper" Waupoose; his brother-in-law Rollan Caldwell, Jr.; his godmother Rose Gengler; and his aunts, Sharon Waupoose and Mary Claire Grignon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Neopit Community Center (6797 BIA Rte 431, Neopit, WI 54150). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (W6799 Church Street, Neopit, WI 54150).
