He is survived by: his mother Evanell Sanapaw (Kakwitch); his partner Kerry Nacotee; his children, Alissa Waupoose, Marcella Sanapaw, LeRoy Sanapaw, Jr. (Drew Smith), Mariah Sanapaw (Dale House) and Michael Peters; his grandchildren, Amilli, Joseph, Jemma, Alaia, Kamilla, Wapanukiw and LeRoy III; his siblings, Roberta James, Raymond Sanapaw (Debra), Richard Sanapaw (Brenda), Kenneth Sanapaw (Geraldine), Stefanie Pamonicutt (Marty), Thomas Sanapaw (Sassy), Shawn Sanapaw (Sheena) and Kristin Sanapaw; his niece Terri; and his cousin Diana.
