It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leone James of Keshena, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilber and Rose Wilber (Tucker); her husband Gordon James, Sr.; her children, Jessie Lynn James and Tracy A. Peters; and her grandchildren, Christy Dawn King and Albert Patrick "Muggers" Waupoose, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Chief Oskäs, Pat Peters (Carolina), Denise Crowe (Steve) of Appleton, Randy Peters (Rose) of Keshena, Kandi Peters (Ray) of Keshena, Gordon James, Jr. of Keshena, Richard James of Keshena, Marlin James of Keshena and Karen James of Shawano; and her stepson Gordon Pocan of Keshena. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the family requires masks be worn while in attendance and social distancing will be enforced at the gravesite.
