He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth "Beth" Mahkimetas; his wife Elizabeth Waupekenay (Mahkimetas); his children, David Mahkimetas (Candy), Rhonda Corn (James), Robert Waupekenay (Joyce), Catherine Waupekenay, Daryl "DJ" Waupekenay, Jesse Kaquatosh (Louise), Joseph Waupekenay (Delta), Sawa-Nubkiew Waupekenay (Mary) and Mashaquit Waupekenay; his grandchildren, Kacey, Kyle, Steven, Jordynne, Taylor, Kelsey, Katie Jo, Dariyan, Elizabeth, Jada, Robert Jr., Ian, Loretta, Liam, Alexis, Madelyn, Karson, Kaida, Koda, Aiden, Joseph, Roger, Karleigh, Raymond, Lamar, Lucious and Clearsky; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, James, Noah, Kendrick, McKenzie, Zaylla, Dani, Dallas, Carla Mae and Anakin; and his siblings, Shelby Kaquatosh (Leslie) of Keshena, Catherine Waukau of Neopit, Mary Jorgenson (Eugene) of Minneapolis, Gordon Waupekenay of Zoar, Ted Waupekenay (Terry) of Middle Village, Steve Waupekenay of Neopit and Janet Vital (Rosalio) of Neopit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
