He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Chevalier; his brother Richard King; and his grandparents, Bill, Rose Washinawatok and Jeanette Chevalier.
He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Washinawatok (Dale); his children, William Sanapaw, Wakosāēh Sanapaw, Waatanegeshik Sanapaw and Elizabella Shepard; his siblings, Virgil Chevalier (Tricia), Michael Chevalier (Crystal), Richard Chevalier (Gina), Anthony Chevalier, Jeanette Chevalier, Louis Chevalier, Jeanne Chevalier, Jennifer Chevalier, Osawanahkwat Chevalier, Danny Chevalier, Autumn Chevalier, Kyle Newton, Vincent Newton and Angela Newton; and his stepmother Jodi Chevalier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
