It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa Mae Smith (Kenosha, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Branyan and Jettie Mae Branyan (Waldron); her children, Lisa Bathe and David Smith; her husband Earl Smith; and her siblings, Sue Michel (Norman) and Jim Branyan (Mary Helen).

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cutts (Tom) and Greg Smith (Susie Welsh); her grandchildren, David Cutts (Kim), Ian Cutts (AnnMarie), Chirstopher Cutts (Heather), Alex Bathe, Michaela Bathe, James Cooney (Julie), Pete Cooney (Yeng) and Mary Kate Stern (Nathaniel); her great grandchildren, Rain Cutts, Ella Cutts, Braydon Cutts, Taylon Cutts, Bryce Ross, Avery Mae Cutts, Hazel, Fiona, Jack Cooney, Julian, Michael, David Stern and Ethan Klinemark; and her friends, Evonne and Nellie.

During COVID, she sewed over 150 masks to distribute to anyone who had a need.
