With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendy S. Hanson of Kenosha, Wisconsin, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVerne Ottinger and Arlene Ottinger (Sackett); her husband Gene Hanson; her daughter Jeannie; her brother Larry; and her grandson Mark Nelson III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Nye, Jennifer Nelson (Mark) of Kenosha and Jessica Hannaman (Casey) of Kenosha; her son-in-law Mike Cicchini; her brother Bruce Ottinger (Danny Ottinger) of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Seth Oelke (Mercedes), Alexis Smith (Chad), Ashley, Anthony, Alyssa Nye, Nicholas, Elizabeth Nelson, Manda Hannaman (Kyle), Ryley Ottinger, Izabella (Douglas), Mackenzie Beutner, Garrett, Mika, Gianna and Gino Cicchini; and her great grandchildren, Kyler, Aleeha, Xander, Adley Oelke, Ryker, Reggie, Rosella Smith, Marky Nelson, Wesley Jean Arendt, Luka and Auggie Cicchini.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory (8226 Sheridan Rd, Kenosha, WI 53143). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
