Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Vernice leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Qvern and Gloria Qvern; and her significant other Richard Konopski. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheri Ostman and Diane Weiss (Chuck); her sister Mary Broshofske (Kenny); her granddaughter Courtney Greenwood (Ryne); her great grandchildren, Caleb Jarvis, Xavier Voda and Addison Greenwood; and her niece Sara Broshofske.
She was a member of the Audubon Society, the National Wildlife Foundation, and contributed to the World Wildlife Fund to support and protect those interests.
