He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold W. Johnson and Mary Johnson (Etue); his siblings, Robert C. Johnson and Judith Crates of Santa Clara, California.; his son Bruce Johnson (Vanessa); and his grandchild Christian Radovic.

He is survived by: his spouse Jan Principe; his children, Christopher Johnson (Cheryl), Kimberly Johnson (Becky Meyer), Julie Radovic (Raka) and Heather Marko (Bob); and his grandchildren, Heather Nichols, Hana Aguilar (Nathaniel), Mitchell Johnson (Amanda), Ashleigh Meinen (Ryan), Brittany Herin (Trevor), Haley Johnson, Kolin Meyer (Hailey), Zack Meyer, Adam Radovic (Vanessa), Stefan Radovic (Kelly), Alex Marko (Abby) and Madison Langan (Jonathan). He is also survived by his father, brother, and sons.
