He was predeceased by: his parents, Anker Jorgensen and Olive Jorgensen (Burr). He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Penava and Charlie Jorgensen (Lynne); his children, James Jorgensen (Donna), Dr. Daniel Jorgensen (Xilla), Susan Kilby (Duane), Julianne Jorgensen (Greig Greenwald) and Peter G. Jorgensen (Nancy); his grandchildren, Christian (Elizabeth), Erik, Ethan, Jakob, Caitlin, Kristin, Matthew, Madeline, Kira, Alex, Olivia (Taylor), Jeromy and Anna; and his great grandchild Isabella. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (2224 45th St, Kenosha, WI 53140). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the All Saints Cemetery (3300 Springbrook Rd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158). The military honors was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in Peter's memory to Safe Harbor Animal Shelter or Shalom Center.
