She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McElveen, and Maggie McElveen, Sr. (Davis); her husband Alston Godbolt Sr. of North Chicago, IL; her siblings, Dorothy Cross, Idella Whaley, Thomas McElveen Jr. and Joseph McElveen; and her brother-in-law Harvey Cross.
She is survived by: her children, Alston Godbolt, Jr. (Shannon) of Kenosha and Ashley Godbolt-Taylor (Michelle) of Saint Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren, Tracy Godbolt of Waukegan, IL., Trania, Taylor, Alexei, Layla and Amir; and her sisters, Elizabeth Gross of Stone Mountain, GA, Deborah Charles of Lithonia, GA and Marcella McElveen-Shaw (Mark). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (3925 32nd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53144).
