He is survived by: his wife Nanette Bodven; his children, Renee Milne (Steve), Austin Schmitt of Belvidere, IL and Denise Daniels (Emil); his grandchildren, Hannah, Ellie, Ean and Margaret "Maggie"; and his siblings, John Schmitt and Carol Edwards. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
