He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Milisauskas and Marija Milisauskas (Smailys); his brother Sarunas; his parents-in-law, Frank McGovern and Joyce McGovern; and his brother-in-law Jim McGovern.

He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughters, Lisa Milisauskas-Feldmeier of Milwaukee, Theresa Schwer (Brad) of Kenosha and Beth Anderson (Dan) of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Frankie Ruschfeier (Jake) of Des Moines, Nicholas Feldmeier of Milwaukee, Julia, Emma, Anna Schwer of Kenosha, Donnelly and Isabella Anderson of Kenosha; his siblings, Anne Arbas (Alvydas) and Anthony Milisauskas (Ramona); and his siblings-in-law, Vita Milisauskas, Terry McGovern (Pat), Marilyn Epping (Ed), Nancy McGovern and Bob McGovern. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to The Shalom Center, the Kenosha Literacy Council, Hunger Task Force or the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, in John's memory.
