He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Garoutte and June Garoutte (Hall); his grandparents, Ben and Jane Thigpen of Dallas, TX.; his siblings, Bennie Jane Thigpen and Glenn Garoutte; his son-in-law Michael Picazo; and his in-laws, Joseph and Mary Trotta.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Trotta) of Kenosha, WI; his children, Jeniffer Dzbinski (Robert) and Brian Garoutte (Beth); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan Garoutte, Joey Dzbinski, Brittney Gray (Dan) and Kylie Dzbinski.
