He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hamilton and Bertha Hamilton (Crain); his wife Ruby Nell Frazier; his close friend Marilyn Harris; his children, Ricky Hamilton, Arlene Hamilton, Marlene Jones, Darlene Hamilton Small, Harry Lee Hamilton, Mary Rodriguez, Larry Hamilton, Linda Collins Jones and Homer Dalton; and his sister Helen Lamb Hampton.
He is survived by: his children, Reverend George Hamilton (Henrietta), Virginia Hamilton Morgan (Daryl), Scott Hamilton, Vicky Launderville, Barbara Garrett, Joanne Harris, Edward Harris, Lois "Necy" Hodges (Gregory), Tricia Applegate (Michael), Paul Dalton and Tashee Daniel. He is also survived by his goddaughter) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
