He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Leonora Smith (Mattis); and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Helen Smith; his sisters, Faye Howen of Kenosha and Frances Wakefield (David); and his nieces, Faith Miller (Dean) of Kenosha and Faye Tidwell.
