He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Decker and Charlotte Decker (Anderson); his wife Judith Johnson; his siblings, Jack, Harvey, Betty and Mimi; and his son-in-law Edward Burke.

He is survived by: his children, John Decker (Patti) of Iron Mountain, MI, Judy Degges of Kenosha, Sue Burke of Mount Pleasant and Jodi Larsen (Scott) of Pleasant Prairie; his brother Don Decker (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Jamie Burke, Eddie Burke, Michael Crane, Ciara Keller, Rachael Mathews, Taylor Decker, Charlotte Pautz, Rebecca Coughlin and Keri Larsen. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

All these years briefly talking to Gene about elections or the Packers and the dogs Luke and Lucy will be good memories.
