He was predeceased by: his father James Hinds; his sister Alison Hinds; and his grandparents, Gertrude, Vernal Hinds, Janet and Durward May.
He is survived by: his mother Andrea Hinds (May); his daughters, Haley Hinds and Kyra VonRuden; and his brother Joel Hinds (Heather Whealdon).
