She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Riley and Flora Belle Riley (Hill); her husband Kenneth Bartel; and her siblings, Meredith Anderson, James Riley and Arthur Riley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Hunkeler (Hugh), Cathy Tabbert (Troy) and Carol Birchell (Tom); her grandchildren, Dan Hunkeler (Sadie), Andy Hunkeler, Marie Hunkeler, Michelle Hunkeler, Nicole Tabbert, Ryan Tabbert, Stephanie Birchell and Melody Birchell; and her great grandchildren, James Hunkeler, Alina Redzepi and Ariella Redzepi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Ladies of Good Shepherd, in her memory.
