He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zirk and Milladore Zirk (Jones); his wife Shirley Siebecker; his grandson Tyler John Zirk; and his siblings, Edward Zirk Jr. and Beata Franke.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Schumann of Tomah, Cindy Steinbrink (Scott) of Berlin and William Zirk (Amanda) of Soldiers Grove; his grandchildren, Lukas Schumann (Amanda) of Tomah, Lance Schumann (Christa) of Tomah, Andrea Virk (Sandeep) of Montgomery, Garrett Steinbrink (Kendra) of Shorewood, Nathan Zirk of Soldiers Grove and Blake Zirk of Soldiers Grove; his great grandchildren, Logan, Lane Schumann of Tomah, Nimrat, Ranveer and Rajveer Virk of Montgomery; and his siblings, Eugene "Gene" Zirk (Louise) of Kendall and Deb Coldren of Wilton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
