He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Zaruba and Bessie Zaruba (Hostak); his wife Lou Zaruba; his stepdaughter Mary Benzinger; his stepgrandson Tyler Nemetz; and his sister-in-law Pat Zaruba.
He is survived by: his siblings, Allan A. Zaruba and Lorraine Zaruba; and also, Jerry Paider (Sue), Steve Paider (Lori Jo), Lisa Nemetz (Roy), Maribel, Lori Seidl and Raymond "Skip" Benzinger. He is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren.
