He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mary Rausch (Ben), Joseph Derks (Eric), Patricia McGee (Martin), Linda Nieuwenhuis (Michelle), Judith Derks (Karl Blaser), Barbara Parker (Jaclyn), Gerard Derks, Allen Derks (Kris) and Ann Vander Bloemen (Haley); his brother John Derks; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
