He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Van Deraa. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Deraa; his siblings, Christine Hoh (Mark), Keith (Lisa) and Kevin (Sandy); and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Hoh (Lucy), Trisha Schneider (Matt), Tiffany Van Hulle (Jamie), James (Amanda), Daniel (Blanche), Adam Schafer (Shana) and Justin Van Deraa (Amanda). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; a great-great niece; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up in Tracy's honor.
