He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Sr. Vanevenhoven and Rita Vanevenhoven (Hartzheim); his brother Ron Vanevenhoven; and his siblings-in-law, Margarita Vanevenhoven, Ramona Driessen, James Driessen, Don Mangold, Peg Mangold and Caroline Mangold.
He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Ann Mangold (Mickey); his children, Ann Short (Tim), Beth Van Dyn (Joe) and Jay (Marria Ritucci); his stepgrandchildren, Tony Van Dyn (Christine), Tina Feaster (Paul), Tyler Van Dyn Hoven, John Short (Cathy), Mike Short (Sara) and Sarah Laurent (Ross); his great grandchildren, Brysen, Braylynn Van Dyn Hoven, Maverick, Xander Feaster, Ted, Sydney, Charlotte and Henry Short; and his siblings, Pete Vanevenhoven (Mary), Dave Vanevenhoven and Diane Thon.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Bud's name.
