He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swanningson and Regina Swanningson (Verhagen); his siblings, Robert, Richard Swanningson, Evelyn Schmidt (Gerald) and Debra Van Wychen (Raymond); his parents-in-law, Fritz and Leone Vande Hey; his brother-in-law Marvin Vande Hey; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Swanningson.
He is survived by: his wife Evon Vande Hey; his children, Tony Swanningson (Donna) and Kristi Bobber (Mark); his grandchildren, Corey Swanningson (Cassie), Kayla Schultz (Dylan), Jordan Bobber and Grayson Bobber; his great grandchild Emerson Swanningson; his parents-in-law, Ann Swanningson, Carol Swanningson, Gary Vande Hey (Jean), Earl Vande Hey (Jean) and Mary K. Hermes (John); and his godchildren, Lorie, Aaron, Joshua and Brian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
