With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Verhagen (Kaukauna, Wisconsin), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on May 4, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Helen Mason (Evert) and Beatrice Lufi (Harvey); her mother-in-law Catherine Verhagen (Bergman); and also, Leucina, Johanna Fink (Clarence), Regina Swanningson (Walter), Rosemary, Kramer, Steven, Ervin (Dorothy), Melvin and Jerome Verhagen (Kathryn).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Allen (Jim) of Novato, CA, Ron (Lynn) of Appleton, Diane Murphy (Bill) of Appleton and Lou (Laurie) of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Rob Verhagen (Terri), Jason Allen (Coreen), Pete Verhagen (Kevin Tompkins), Dana Aughney, Erin Dunbar (Dan), Mike Verhagen, Heather Bastjan (Mike Burian) and Tom Verhagen (Eliza); her great grandchildren, Kayla, Alicia Verhagen, Keara, Devin Aughney, Caitlin, Raegan, Rory Dunbar, Blake, Emily Bastjan, Zoey Burian, Hunter and McCoy Allen; her great great grandchildren, Bentley, Jackson and Allister; and her husband Gene. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
