He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Hedtke (Jamison); his parents-in-law, Tom and Flora Appleton; and his brother-in-law Gary Syring. He is survived by: his father Wallace Hedtke; his wife Lori Appleton; his sons, Derek Hedtke (Stacey Allen) and Aaron Hedtke (Alexis Merbach); his sisters, Vicki Syring, Mary Jahnel and Colleen Kosmosky (Vaughn); his siblings-in-law, Dave, Steve Appleton, Kim Walbrun (Scott) and DeAnn Kohlbeck (Jeff); his niece Jennifer Syring; and his nephews, Jeremy (Jason Syring), Justin (Jesse Jahnel), Zachary Kosmosky (Luke Walbrun) and Thomas (Jake Appleton).
Masks and social distancing are required and capacity will be limited to 200 people.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Rick's life, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Joe's Food Pantry in Appleton, or any charity close to your heart, to assist those in need this holiday season.
