He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Franda; his niece Tori Heimann; his parents-in-law, Frederick and Rita Thiel; and his brother-in-law Ronald Thiel.
He is survived by: his mother Judith Franda (Whistler); his wife Chris; his stepchildren, Aaron Ploetz (Coriene) and Melissa Russo (Bruce); his stepgrandchildren, Avery, Connor "Emily", Victoria Ploetz, Victor, Leroy and Vincent Russo; his siblings, Sue Bartsch (Jeff), Peggy Hester (Don), Debi Heimann (Dan) and Tony Franda (Jennifer); and his siblings-in-law, Geri Klauck (Dave), Terry Thiel (Sandy) and Patty Gahagan (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
