He was predeceased by: his wife Isabelle Helf (Todd); his parents, Richard Helf and Selma Helf; and his siblings, Robert, James and Janet Borree.

He is survived by: his children, David (Pat) of Menasha, Richard (Terry) of Silver Cliff, Greg (Jann) of Kaukauna, Carol Stover (Ward) of Columbiaville, MI and Wendy Hofer (Jon) of Farmington, CT; his siblings, Gerald, Thomas (Judy) and Nancy Peterson; and also, Scott, Jackie and Jason. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
