She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Oberthur and Nell Oberthur; her husband Fred Brochtrup; her son Dennis; her sister Loretta Oberthur; her brother-in-law Gene Paulsen; her in-laws, Ben and Olga; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Srnka (Wilbur), Pat Backus (Matt), Diane Haen (Vic) and Donald Brochtrup.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Brochtrup, Tom Brochtrup (Barb), Lori Haen (Joe), Chunk Brochtrup (Jeanne), Peggy Brochtrup (Tom), Patti Giordana (Troy), Jane Mahnke (Dale) and Dave Brochtrup (Sharon); her grandchildren, Eric, Jenna Brochtrup (Wesley), Erin Van Rooy (John), Brad Brochtrup (Sarah), Sara Weber (Miles), Kristin Myers (Tommy), Jesse Haen (Melissa), Joshua Haen, Michael Brochtrup (Kara), Jim Brochtrup (Megan), Lisa Van Kauwenberg (Tyler), Nick Brochtrup (Justine), Andrew Mahnke (Ashley), Alex Mahnke, Megan Brochtrup (Bryce Weigert) and Ben Brochtrup (Grace); her great grandchildren, Finnegan, Declan, Madigan, Luke, Adam, Kate, Alethea, Waylon, Charlette, Petronella, Josephine, Lincoln, Nolan, Savannah, Kendyll, Caiden, Bentley, Kayla, Caroline, Ava, Weston, Clark, Libby and Bryce; her sister Ann Paulsen; and her sister-in-law Doris Vandenheuvel (Brochtrup). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church - Hollandtown (433 County Rd CE, Kaukauna, WI 54130). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery - Hollandtown (433 County Rd CE, Kaukauna, WI 54130).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
