She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Streigel and Anne Streigel (Sturm); her sister Martha Mary; her husband Earl; her daughters, Mary Martha Hopfensperger, Geraldine "Gerri" Steger and Martha Vanevenhoven; her daughter-in-law Lyn Hopfensperger; and her siblings, Bob Striegel (Dorothy) and Estelle Moehring (Florian).
She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" Hopfensperger of Sherwood, Ralph Hopfensperger (Sue) of Kaukauna, Marilyn Portman (Alan) of Little Chute and Suzanne "Suzie" Weyers (Kurt) of DePere; her sons-in-law, Jim Steger of Appleton and Dan Vanevenhoven (Sandra Kuhn) of Little Chute; and her grandchildren, Judy Thomas (Jim), Brian Hopfensperger (Mary), Donna Merckx (Rick), John Hopfensperger (Julie), Ken Van Rossum (Andrea), Kris Seidl (Brian), Kim Van Rossum (Denise Brandow), Heidi Hopfensperger, Jennifer Binsfeld (Matthew), Stephanie Van Handel (Eric), Nicole Smith (Brandon), Amy Janssen (Scott), Aaron Portman (Nicole), Leah Rogneby (Nick), Olivia Weyers, Sheila Van Handel (Ross), Mickey Steger (Carrie Williams), Scott Vanevenhoven (Becky) and Todd Vanevenhoven (Althea). She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
