He was predeceased by: his son Sean; and his parents, John and Joan. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Patricia Demery; his children, Caity (Dave), Kerry (Jon) and Brendan (Katelyn); and his granddaughter Violet.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mark's name to support local conservation efforts.
