She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gendron and Laura Gendron; her significant other Frank Merckx; her daughter Dawn Marie; her son-in-law Phil Hartzheim; and her sibling Franks.

She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Hartzheim, Kay Petros (Bruce) and Tom Merckx (Sue); her grandchildren, Keely Wilson (Justin), Quinn Van Asten (Brian), Alex Hartzheim (Kristin), Jason Bergeron, Matthew Petros (Laura), Ryan Petros and Hanna Merckx (Mike Coppens); and her great grandchildren, Trent Wilson (Allyson White), Shaylan Wilson, Sienna, Aemin, Emmett Hartzheim, Callen Van Asten, Myah and Hailey Petros. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
