He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Zierler and Shirley Zierler (Munes); his parents-in-law, Sylvester and Ethel Huss (Schmitz); and his cousin Al Zierler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Huss; his children, Laura Propson (Brady) of Kaukauna and Michael; his grandchildren, Colton and Caden Propson; his siblings, Sue Vanderloop (Jim) and John; his grandsons, Paul Zierler (Kim) and Mark Zierler (Shelley); and his brothers, Dennis Kroes (Cindy), Carl Kroes (Kathy), Dave Kroes (Irene), Cal Kroes and Doug Huss (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
