He was predeceased by: his stepmother Josephine Fischer; his brother Stephen; his nephew Jimmy Hoffman; his parents-in-law, Margaret and Paul Hietpas; and his brother-in-law Paul Zornow.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Fischer (Hietpas); his children, Jason Fischer, David Fischer (Ellen) and Ann Schaefer (Ryan); his grandchildren, Margaret, Natashea, Larissa Schaefer, Stephen and Jane Fischer; and his siblings, Philip Fischer and Kathy Hoffman.
