He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Verhasselt; his grandchildren, MaryJo (John), VerKuilen (Greg), Karen (Brian), Kust, Nancy (Tom), Kozlovsky (Melissa), Donna (Bruce), Gonnering, Ken (Crystal), Mike (Marney), Steve (Kelly), Bruce (Vicky), Jill (Nathan) and Moore; his siblings, Dorothy Vosters (Ted), Earl Verhasselt (Dolly), Dave Verhasselt, Tom Verhasselt (Terri) and Pat Brockman (Bill); and his parents-in-law, Joyce Verhasselt, Evelyn Verhasselt, Janice Zwiers, Jerry Weyenberg (Mary Ann) and Karl Wouters. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
