James J. Van Vreede Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Van Vreede of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, born in Freedom, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Vreede; his wife Esther Green; his son-in-law Mark Paulos; and his siblings, Jerome, Mark Van Vreede (Carol), Anita Hammill (John), Lucille Moser (Bill), Phyllis Mauthe (Larry), Marion Hurley, Helen John (Don) and Maggie Lamers (Gordon).
He is survived by: his children, Dale Van Vreede (Marcia), Karen Verhagen (Jerry), Jean Gerhartz (Dave), Connie Evers (Jerry) and Leann Paulos; his grandchildren, Krista Johnson (Derrek), Jill Borchers (Derek), Julie Ganfield (John), Tim Verhagen (Sarah), Jeff Verhagen (Erin), Greg Verhagen, Melissa Gerhartz (Gary), Melinda Lachapell (Scott), Craig Evers (Cindy), Tracey Plamann (Bryan), Keith Evers (Emily), Kyle Evers (Katie), Brian Paulos (Taylor) and Eric Paulos; his brother Tom Van Vreede; his siblings-in-law, Bud Bowers and Myrt Van Vreede; and his close friend Helen Diedrick. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
