He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gehl and Emily Gehl; his sister Joann Wall; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Wall and Eugene Farrell; and his parents-in-law, Lester and Doris Fredrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Jo; his sons, Tyler Gehl (Stephanie) and Judd Gehl (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Collin and Camryn Gehl.
