She was predeceased by: her father Gordon Jewett; her husband Senior Airman Jim Jansen; and her brother Gary Jewett. She is survived by: her children, Cheri Vanden Heuvel (Kevin), Heidi Gaugert (Tom), Ed Jansen (Christine) and Dan "George" Jansen (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Travis (Stacey), Michael (David), Ashley (Mike), Zachary (Bailey), Grace, Olivia, Edward (Holly), Felicia, Michelle, Megan, Paige, Vaughan, Noah and Sam; her great grandchildren, Faith, Gavin, Grayson, Madison, Brooklyn and Haven; and her brother Jan Jewett.
