We bid farewell to Donald E. Brockman (Kaukauna, Wisconsin), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024 at the age of 74. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vilas Brockman and Germaine Brockman (Brux); his parents-in-law, Robert and Ella Mae Vande Wettering; his brother-in-law Dan Vande Wettering; and his niece Emily Pahl.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vande Wettering; his children, Jodi Matthies (Darrin), Jacki Wegand (Mike), Joanne Brockman, Jane Vande Voort (Philip), Jyl Brockman (Lyle Hutchinson) and Jesse Brockman (Liz); his grandchildren, Brenna, Caleb, Micha Matthies, Ashlynn, Eli, Jordy Vande Voort, Andi, Lane and Logan Brockman; his siblings, Dennis Brockman (Judy), Duane Brockman (Pam), Susan Peeters (Steve), Marilee Cappaert and Kevin Brockman (Jory); his in-laws, Doug Vande Wettering (Dawn) and Sherry Vande Wettering; and his godson Derek Van Deurzen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home (2401 Fieldcrest Dr, Kaukauna, WI 54130).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Don's name to help aid lymphoma research.

His grandson Logan and I were taking down a few trees and Don stopped by to see how we were doing, and to share a few opinions of whatever happened to be on his mind. We talked briefly about his health condition and to me, Don seemed to be at peace with it. I've known Don since 1979 and have always admired his exceptional work ethic and love for his Family.
